Archetype types classify a Super's abilities at a higher level, which are then further defined by their specific Power Types.
Energy Archetype - The Energy archetype taps into inner and outer forces like life energy or cosmic power. Supers using this archetype harness raw energy to unleash powerful attacks and amplify their abilities.
Power Archetype - The Power archetype relies on physical strength, brute force, and abilities that enhance their own might. Supers of this archetype dominate battles through sheer force and overwhelming resilience.
Sorcery Archetype - The Sorcery archetype wields dark forces and underworld magic to disrupt, manipulate, and unleash chaos. These Supers thrive on deception, curses, and forbidden spells to overpower their foes.
Supernatural Archetype - The Supernatural archetype harnesses mythical and ancient powers, drawing from dragons, old-world magic, spiritual forces, and other fantastical energies. These Supers embody the legends and magic found in classic fantasy tales.
Tech Archetype - The Tech archetype harnesses the power of advanced technology, from biotech armor and nanotechnology to high-tech weaponry and futuristic vehicles. These Supers rely on innovation and cutting-edge gear to dominate the battlefield.
Unclassified Archetype - The Unclassified archetype consists of mysterious and enigmatic powers that defy classification. Little is known about their origins or mechanics, making these abilities unpredictable and beyond conventional understanding.
Power types further classify a Super's abilities, categorizing them into types that closely align with their specific powers.
Non-type is a power type that encompasses abilities with uncalculable risks and rewards, making them unpredictable and volatile, or even the absence of power altogether.
Physical power type focuses on strength and power derived from the Super's own body, emphasizing raw physical force.
Magic is the power type that harnesses mystical arts and draws energy from natural sources to create fantastical effects and abilities.
Elemental is the power type that allows a Super to manipulate one or more elements, depending on their abilities.
Undead is the power type that embodies the powers of the dead, such as zombies and skeletons, often involving dark or necrotic forces.
Feral is the power type that draws on the animal instincts and agility of beasts, commonly found in beast-type Supers.
Mind is the power type that allows manipulation or enhancement of the mind, enabling control that can extend beyond universal boundaries.
Mecha is the power type that relies on technological advancements, including the use of guns and robotics, to gain an advantage in battle.
Special is a power type that is unimaginable and unpredictable, with abilities that are often beyond understanding, leaving most unaware of the true extent of their power.
Science is the power type that draws from biological and chemical advancements, often intertwined with unnatural forces, to create either monstrous or fascinating abilities.
Nature is the power type that draws energy from nature itself, enabling the manipulation of plants and trees.
Cosmic is the power type that harnesses the energy forces from the cosmos, granting immense power, especially when their energy source comes from large celestial masses.
Light is the power type that manipulates photons and light speed, harnessing light from any source that generates it, or even becoming the generator themselves.
Dark is the power type that draws on dark energy from the underworld or alternate dimensions of darkness, enhancing their magical abilities or physical form.
Ethereal is the power type that draws energy from other dimensions, such as fantasy worlds filled with dragons and fairies, infusing it into their own body and power.
Variant types affect deck-building. A Champion Deck can include only one card of an "Original" or "Variant", but it may also contain one "Named Variant" with a different name. To determine if your card is a Variant, look for the "Variant" icon located under the card set on the left side of the card.
Example: If your deck contains the "Original" variant, "Viriaz", you cannot include any other "Variant" type card named "Viriaz." However, you can include a "Named Variant" with a similar name, such as "The Bloody Hero Viriaz" or "Corrupted Viriaz"; or both.
Original
The Original is the first discovered version of the Super.
Variant
A Variant is a subset variation of the Original Super that exists in another universe.
Named Variant
The Named Variant is a different version of the Original Super, featuring unique abilities and defensive skills.
